Today I made a packing list (so Army of me) and basic itinerary of my time on the East Coast. After I finish this, I'm heading downstairs to get started on that whole packing thing. :)
Here's a basic rundown of what is in store:
- Springfield/DC: family, friends, pee wee basketball games, deployment (eventually!) party, and really good food!
- Lake Monticello: family, good food, playing with dogs, skipping rocks on the lake, and just enjoying the slower pace and beautiful scenery
- Columbia: hanging with my mom and her menagerie, the Congaree Swamp, Camden, antique shops and boutiques, and my mom's killer baked goods
- Charleston: history, AMAZING food, the market, seeing a good friend, and exploring more than tourist-deep in one of my favorite cities
- Georgia: seeing my brother--yep that's about it!
