I'm not deploying in January. Now they are saying probably May. Nothing is set in stone yet. However we are 95% positive we are getting a new commander in January, which will vastly affect my personal job on a daily basis. (Since I'm the new XO, what I do is based on who my boss is.)
I feel like God wants me to stay here, but I just need to adjust to this new idea.
Once I do, it'll change again.
Oh yeah, I'm staying in Hawaii for Christmas now.
